Life force energy is the divine spark that flows through every living thing from humans to animals to plants. It also flows all around us as part of the atmosphere. It's an intrinsic part of life in many ancient cultures. It is called:
-
Qi by the Chinese
-
Reiki by the Japanese
-
Prana by the Indians
-
Pneuma by the Greeks
-
Mana by the Polynesians
Human beings are a complex maze of life force energy; simplistically this maze can be described as being made up of three major parts.
The outer part of our life force energy is called an aura and can stretch out upto 40ft away from our physical body.
The next part of the life force energy maze, are the seven major chakras. Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel. Each wheel or chakra of life force energy cross-sect the body and spreads out into the aura. Each chakra breathes in and out like a lung breathing fresh life force energy into the system and expelling negative energy.
Finally this life force energy maze is made up of meridians or channels along which the life force energy flows below the skin within the fat and muscle layers.
I often think of the aura as an outer protective shell, the chakras as energetic motorway service stations for the body and the meridians as the motorways spreading out the fresh energy to all parts of the body. |
